Biden says Hamas attack planned to disturb Saudi-Israel normalization of ties

 

WASHINGTON: Palestinian Islamist group Hamas' Oct. 7 assault on Israel that killed around 1,400 individuals planned to disturb a possible standardization of ties among Israel and Saudi Arabia, US President Joe Biden said at a mission pledge drive on Friday.

"One reason Hamas continued on Israel … they realize that I was going to plunk down with the Saudis," Biden said.
